Information about PSC

Point of Single Contact (PSC) is a portal for electronic administrative services created in each EU member state to facilitate entrepreneurs starting and wishing to develop a business in the field of services, not only in their country, but also on the territory of the entire European Union. The establishment of the PSC is an obligation of all member states according to the Directive 2006/123/EC on services in the internal market.

PSC can help when you plan to start a new business or expand your service business in your own or another EU Member State and you do not know:

  • What should I do when I want to permanently settle and start a business in another Member State?

  • What should I do when I want to offer services cross-border, temporarily or one-off without settling in another Member State?

  • What licenses, notifications or permits are required to start a business in another Member State?

  • Will the permit or license I hold be recognized?

  • What is the procedure and who is the authority for recognition of my professional qualification or recognition of acquired higher education?

  • Do I have to pay a fee? In what amount?

  • How and from which institution can I get additional information or clarifications?

You will get information and answers to all these questions from the ERC portals of the member states, which are available HERE
